Flexible and sustainable housing in Oude Pekela
On behalf of the Municipality of Pekela, Van den Nagel Modular Construction is implementing a large-scale housing project aimed at providing affordable, flexible housing for both first-time buyers and movers. This project comprises 70 flexible homes, built modularly to meet the housing needs of the local population in Pekela. By utilizing our modular construction technique, we guarantee rapid delivery, sustainable materials, and high-quality housing solutions—ideal for both temporary and permanent living arrangements.
The construction phase for this project in Oude Pekela takes place from the fourth quarter of 2024 through the first quarter of 2025. The homes are produced in our specialized factory environment, allowing us to work efficiently with minimal build time and reduced impact on the surrounding area. Our modular approach limits construction waste and substantially reduces CO₂ emissions, supporting the municipality’s sustainability goals.
Variety in housing types and flexibility
The 70 flexible homes in this project vary in size to suit the needs of different groups. First-time buyers will find accessible housing options, while movers can find suitable living spaces tailored to their requirements. These homes are not only sustainable but also expandable and adaptable, allowing residents to relocate or adjust their living space without major renovations.
Fully equipped and comfortable
Each home is delivered complete with modern amenities, including a fully equipped kitchen, bathroom, energy-efficient installations, and quality insulation for comfort and low energy costs. Built to the highest quality standards, our homes provide a comfortable and future-proof living environment.
